Hi guys, how are you? Welcome to this lesson. This time we will learn about Korean polite form. Korean people use 존댓말 (polite form) to talk with someone who is older or someone who is respected. For example when we talk with our teacher, we use polite form. It is just as a formal form in Korean language. In English, we only use one language to talk with everyone. But in Korean, there is also polite form language. Well, are you ready to learn? Let's start!
The 1st formula is:
V + 십니다 / 십니까?

This formula is placed after verb ending with a vowel. V + 십니다 is used for narative sentences and 십니까? is used for interogative sentences. Look at the following examples:

(Eonniga bangeseo gongbuhasibnida)
Sister studies at the room
<?> 언니가 방에서 공부하십니까?
(Eonniga bangeseo gongbuhasibnikka?)
